What we require you to have: 

    • BE/ Diploma – Computers, IT, Computer Engineering 
    • Relevant certifications in Linux (RHCSA, RHCA , RHCE)
    • Certification – Cpanel Systems Administrator: Level 2
    • English – Written & Verbal
    • Proficiency in Linux command line, awk, piping, command line arguments in Linux.
    • Web server administration – Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed, PHP-FPM & Caching server
    • Expert in Server deployments, Server Setup and Security configurations.
    • DNS In-dept. knowledge
    • cPanel, Plesk , Directadmin knowledge advanced level.
    • Network trouble shooting
    • Ability to manage hosting accounts, databases and email configurations.
    • Virtualization expertise, KVM, VMware, Proxmox
    • Shell scripting skills , Ability to write basic health scripts etc.
    • Hands-on expertise with backup & restoration techniques
    • Hands-on expertise with server migrations, cross platform migration.
    • Disaster recovery expertise
    • Nagios Monitoring
    • WHMCS, Jira, OS ticketing knowledge
    • Basic knowledge of programming language – PHP/Python/Nodejs
    • Cloud knowledge – AWS, Azure

What you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Manage and maintain servers, including configuration, optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Implement and maintain web server software (e.g. Nginx, Apache) , databases, and associated technologies.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard web hosting infrastructure and c3lient data.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations pertaining to web hosting environments.
  • Provide advance technical support and guidance to the support team for escalated issues related to web hosting services.
  • Collaborate with the support team to address complex customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Monitor server performance, traffic, and resource utilization to identify and rectify performance blocks and other issues.
  • Optimize server configurations and settings to improve website loading times and overall customer experience.
  • Implement and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability in case of failures or emergencies.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and perform regular tests to validate the effectiveness of plans.
